Prerequisites or what applicants need to apply.

 A Master of Theological Studies (M.A.T.S.) or its equivalent 60 academic hour master's degree courses (Students with a non-theological degree need at least 45 academic hours of master level theological courses). Read more our catalogue!

The Ph.D. in Theological Studies is a religious degree offered in the State of Arizona. According to current Arizona law, educational institutions that grant religious degrees must abide by the Fair Consumers Practices guidelines provided by the State (Arizona Statutes, ARS § 32-3022) and institutions must notify the Commission on Independent Education of the State of Arizona.
